Church End Youth Drama Group was an after school intervention project in association with the Youth Inclusion Programme for Brent, delivering drama classes for 8 - 12 year olds.
The sessions ran on a Monday and Tuesday evening between 4 – 6.30 p.m. which included a homework club for the children living in the Church End area of Neasden. The young people who attended had an unequalled passion and enthusiasm. They were given the chance to develop drama techniques, including movement, devising and improvisation skills, as well as gaining confidence in a safe, secure environment.
During the 2 and a half years that the project ran the young people wrote and performed shows, made a film and recorded an album.
